Summary
As a key member of our team, you’ll perform specialized technical tasks associated with hydrology, hydraulics, hydrodynamics, water quality, flood modeling, river engineering, stream restoration, and fish passage planning and design. You’ll serve as a responsible technical lead, performing technical tasks and coordinating the use of resources to accomplish multiple, concurrent water or environmental projects. Using our cutting-edge, proprietary tools and modeling software, you’ll develop and apply environmental and water resources modeling and analyses to support local, regional, state, and Federal water management planning, hydraulic analyses, and facilities operations and design studies.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Demonstrated experience with water resources modeling.
Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with emphasis on water resources. PhD is preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in the state of California.
Experience with HEC-RAS and 2D hydraulic modeling applications.
Knowledge of programming languages, including VB, Python, R.
Knowledge of California hydrology and water resources is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.
