Program description

For modelling of coastal, river, lake and estuarine areas, Deltares has developed an integrated 3D modelling suite. It covers numerical modelling of flows, sediment transport, waves, water quality, morphological developments and ecology.
The Delft3D Suite includes several modules that are also subject of separate courses. The standard 2-day course covers Hydrodynamic modelling (Block 1). The standard course is followed by two optional parallel courses. The first option is a 3-day course that covers environmental modelling (Block 2a). The other 3-day option deals with modelling of wave propagation, sediment transport and bed dynamics (Block 2b).
